Is a new LMS an option we need to put on the table?

Reporting
Annual Reports Weekly Reports for coaches
Student gets mentor's name in welcome letter upon enrollment. They then must select their mentor from a dropdown list. Mentors and Students should be directly assigned.
Messaging
Toolbar > Messages > New Message > Select Mentor from list of all users Messaging system is used for messaging between students and their coaches (managers) and mentors:
- Students can message their coaches and mentors.
- Coaches can message their students and mentors.
- Mentors can message their students and coaches.
- Program admin can message all.
New feature: Auto-reminders can be scheduled for upcoming due-dates of time-sensitive milestones
Students aren't required to send messages to their mentor. Mentors send weekly messages.
Notes stored in association with students to keep track of "anomalies"
Practical Test
Tests are stage-gated. Students can reset test after failure.
Quiz grading: Users should be able to see which questions they got wrong but shouldn't be supplied with the correct answers.
After several failures (ex. 5) the student should be paused on further quiz attempts.
Feedback on submitted images (up to 4) is provided to the student by their assigned mentor. Mentors use a tablet device to markup the photo and send it back to the student.
Grading via video feedback, welcome videos? Student video submissions with timestamped annotations? If we do video stuff we'll archive or delete old videos.
Photo submissions should be retained, even for failed tests, to better track progress/improvement.

Onboarding for non-corporate users

- Go to user account
- Set up username and password
- Send welcome email based on template with details manually entered
- Custom Timeline PDF based on start date -> dates should be displayed in the program instead, calculated based on start date
Mentor Resource Bank
Sheet of resources to share with students, categorized by Skill and Level Would work better as a resource library implementation.
